Joining Our Market Family

If you are interested in becoming a vendor at any of our markets, you are REQUIRED to complete the

Vendor Application by clicking the above link. 

We will give additional consideration to applicants who follow the process.

Rules for Application

1. You are applying as a certified producer, hot or packaged food vendor or crafter/artisan

2. You have obtained all applicable licenses and permits as required for the City in which you wish to sell

ALL VENDORS must obtain a business permit for the City in which the market is located

(e.g. if you are applying for the Otay Ranch CFM located in Chula Vista you must apply at the City of Chula Vista, and if you are applying in Ocean Beach or at the Gaslamp Artisan Market, you must apply at the City of San Diego)

 

For certified producers (farmers) visit the Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures at

For prepared and/or packaged food vendors, visit the Department of Environmental Health (DEH) website at

http://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/deh/fhd/food/tempevents.html for additional information.

All PREPARED FOOD vendors must have insurance and provide a copy of Evidence of Insurance with their application

ALL PACKAGED FOOD VENDORS AND MERCHANDISE VENDORS must have a California Seller's Permit which you obtain from the State of California.  

 

By submitting an application you are certifying that you have, and will maintain,

all required permits and insurance.

3. Your submittal of the Vendor Application indicates your acknowledgement that  all the information you provided is true and correct

and that the selection and placement of vendors is at the discretion of market ownership/management. 

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR AN EVENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM US INVITING YOU TO PARTICIPATE. 

 

FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN WE ARE REVIEWING APPLICATIONS AND SELECTING VENDORS.

Once your application is submitted, you may bring samples of your wares to any of our markets and provide to 

David, Market Manager. 

  

Please understand that we receive many calls and emails every day and unfortunately, cannot respond to everyone.

We will contact you if we find a market that will be a good match for you and your products.

Gaslamp Artisan Market

All Vendors       $155 

Otay Ranch CFM

            

Certified Producer 7% of gross sales

Prepared Foods $58*

Crafters  $58*

*Hot and Prepared Foods and Crafters are a minimum $58 or 10% of gross sales, whichever is greater, plus the $2 state fee

Ocean Beach CFM

     

Certified Producer $25 or 7% of gross sales (whichever is greater) plus $2 state fee

Prepackaged Foods $78

Hot Foods $98

Crafters in lots $68 

Crafters on Newport Avenue $98 

**Prepackaged Foods/Hot Foods and Crafters pay the minimum as stated above or

10% of gross sales, whichever is greater, plus the $2 state fee
